This limited edition archival print is from her lates solo show at Jailbreak Gallery, Feburary 2020, entitled Shower Friends. For this show, she collected her own hair in the shower, and then moves the strands of hair on her shower wall to create portraits from her imagination. Be a part of her unique and creative world with this signed print by one of Portland's most avant garde artists, Rachel Mulder.

Rachel Mulder has adapted printmaking techniques and processes into other art forms, which she always calls "drawing" regardless of what tools or media she uses. She works closely with local nonprofit Public Annex where she assists with their daily inclusive art classes and serves on the founding board as Social Media Director.

In 1902 the building we now call Jailbreak was erected as the first southeast Police Department, built on land that belongs to the Chinook, Cowlitz, and Clackamas tribes. Honoring the land we live on and the accuracy of history matters, acknowledgment matters, showing respect is required. 🌎 If you are interested in learning more about the tribes and land you have built your life on, and you would like to honor the people who came before you, the Native Land app is free, and owned and operated by the Indigenous non profit Native Land Digital.
