Paulina originally hails from Poland and studied visual art in both Krakow, Poland and Hamburg, Germany. In 2016, she moved from Munich, Germany to Oregon City, Oregon. She paints in acrylic on canvas or paper.

Paulina's modern expressionistic works are mostly figurative, as she is fascinated with faces and their endless expressions. She is also captivated by minimalism and in creating bold effects with the simplicity of the image, which can be observed mostly in her still lifes.

I'm fascinated by faces and their expressions. In my paintings, I'm also coming into the reminiscence of my childhood.

In 1902 the building we now call Jailbreak was erected as the first southeast Police Department, built on land that belongs to the Chinook, Cowlitz, and Clackamas tribes. Honoring the land we live on and the accuracy of history matters, acknowledgment matters, showing respect is required. 🌎 If you are interested in learning more about the tribes and land you have built your life on, and you would like to honor the people who came before you, the Native Land app is free, and owned and operated by the Indigenous non profit Native Land Digital. Download for iOS here and Android here.
